What up guys,

This is Corey, your new 'Nike guy' on the van, and I just wanted to stop in, say hey, and fill you in on this little transition of mine. I just moved from the dirrty south in Atlanta to the NYC to start my tour on the Nike East Running Van and it has been quite whirlwind experience. I've never before set foot in the big apple and all I can say is that, well, its just like the movies. Think of every movie you've ever seen about New York and its like that. Except maybe a little taller, dirtier, and lacking one Meg Ryan waiting longingly atop the empire state building. But hey, who am I to say, I've only been here a day. But what I can tell you is this, there are definitely a few things that we southerners know that people in new york don't:

-There are more colors of clothes in the world than black

-honking doesn't accomplish anything except make noise

-chik-fil-a should be everywhere, period

That being said I'm having a blast, and aside from the culture shock, I am looking forward to getting to know the town. Anyone from the New York area know any good routes to run in the city??? I'll take any advice I can get! Oh, and if any of you would want us to come to your school and show me where you run, just give us a shout on our runnerspace or facebook pages! Well, I look forward to seeing all your bright and shining faces, and hope that we get a chance to stop by your school and make all of your Nike dreams come true! Haha, just kidding.... but seriously

P.S. We are so pumped for our previous N.E.R.V. guys who were beamed up by the mother-ship that is Nike. Best of luck to Pat and Jared.
